WINTER IS HERE
Delight loved ones with the pristine beauty of a white Christmas. With its asymmetrical shape and snow-covered tips, this spruce has a festive wintry look that brightens up any celebration. Its sparse branches showcase your finest baubles while clear LED lights add an inviting glow.
Natural Characteristics
Our frosted Christmas tree captures the most beautiful features of evergreens found in the mountain ranges of the Yukon. Layered branches give this narrow tree an organic silhouette, while soft green needles help create a freshly-cut look. Its realistic trunk is carefully detailed to resemble the bark of a live spruce.
Details
- Our exclusive True Needle® foliage mimics the colour and texture of real evergreen branches to bring outstanding realism down to the smallest details.
- Easy Plug® system incorporates light connections in the trunk, so lighting your tree is as simple as plugging it into a socket.
Size Guide
To see whether a tree is the right size for your space, consider 3 criteria:
Choosing the right height
Choosing the right shape and style
Expert Tips
Your Balsam Hill tree is packaged for easy unboxing. Getting it ready to decorate is a 1-person job that takes minutes. For decorating, however, we recommend bringing the family in on the fun.
Each tree comes with a scratch-proof stand with rubber feet to protect your floors and fabric gloves to protect your hands during setup and shaping. Once you have the tree in its stand, the hinged branches will fall into place.
- Pre-lit
- Easy Plug connects all lights through the trunk
- Sections light up as you put them together (video)
- Lights are securely and strategically hand-strung, per section, to provide even coverage — and they stay put when you fold the branches up to put the tree away
- Twinkly
- Unlit
- If using your own lights, remember to string them by section so you can leave them on for quick setup next year.
Shape the tree section by section, starting at the bottom. So, if your tree comes in 3 sections, shape the lowest section before putting the second section on top. You might also consider tying up the higher levels of branches in the sections to keep them out of your way. You can use the ribbon that came on your tree. Learn more
Tip: Save that ribbon for wrapping up your tree after the season
Working branch by branch, separate individual branch tips and pull them away from the center of the tree.
Separate and spread outward-facing branch tips. Your branches should resemble a peacock’s fanned tail.
Gently bend the branch tips upward to create the lush fullness of a real tree. Repeat separating and shaping to fill in gaps.
The less you compress your tree at the end of the season, the less work you will have when setting up next year.

Remove all ornaments and unplug the tree. Be sure light wires are not tangled or twisted.

Dismantle the sections of the tree from the top down.

If you kept the ribbon that was wrapped around your tree when you got it, use it to tie up the branches once you fold them back up. Place sections in provided storage bags. Store in a cool, dry location.
